Trade Pros ("we", "our", "us") operates the Trade Pros mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
• Financial Data: Expense amounts, merchant names, invoice details, and payment records that you manually enter into the App.
• Appointment Data: Customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, and scheduling details for appointments you create.
• Receipt Images: Photos of receipts you upload for expense tracking and OCR processing.
• Google Calendar Data: If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, we access calendar event creation permissions to sync your appointments. We only create, update, and delete events — we do not read your existing calendar.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's core features (expense tracking, invoicing, appointment scheduling).
• To process receipt images using OCR technology to extract expense data.
• To sync appointments with Google Calendar when you opt in.
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We use JWT tokens for session management. Receipt images are stored in encrypted cloud storage (AWS S3).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

• Google: Only if you connect Google Calendar — limited to calendar event data.
• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS for secure file storage (receipt images).
• Law Enforcement: If required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the App at any time.
• Deletion: You can request complete account and data deletion through the App's settings or by contacting us. All your data will be permanently removed.
• Export: You can export your invoices as PDF documents.
• Disconnect: You can disconnect Google Calendar integration at any time.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (expenses, invoices, appointments, receipts, and personal information) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
